Don has always loved music, both popular and classical. He especially loved the singing cowboys he saw in Western movies and then the pioneer rock ‘n’ roll musicians and singers he heard on radio, records, TV, in movies and in live performances. Not only did he love listening to music, he loved playing it and writing songs. In terms of his own performances and song writing, these artists (in no particular order) had the strongest influence on Don.
